As with most endangered species, we need to be diligent about setting aside the necessary habitat for these amazing reptiles. One of the biggest reasons is that referred to above: the species may not native to the intended release area. Recorded from a few locations in Southern California, but probably established in many more areas, and spreading. Despite how scary this tiny reptile appears to be, it’s irrational to denounce the species for its kooky characteristics. It’s ok to go a little left or right as long as you return to your spiritual center afterward. Jawless fish, part of the class Agnatha, belong to the phylum Chordata, subphylum Vertebrata. In cold conditions they become sluggish and don't move around much, and some enter a state of torpor or hibernation if it will be cold for a long time.
